The cursor is blinking & I'm trying to think of a creative way to name and write my first post on this blog. So, what do I do? None other than spell out to you exactly what I was thinking... "That's a big blank space that I am supposed to fill up."
I could attempt to fill up this space with past recollections & things that have made me who I am today so you can better understand me. I don't find that necessary. I've always liked the quote "You know my name, not my story." I've always felt misunderstood, especially by people who don't know the whole story; people who don't talk to me on a daily basis & just get snippets of what's happening in my life from social media like Facebook or knew me then but not now. Well this is my opportunity to fill you in on what's happening in my life at the present and that's all that really matters. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised. Each day is a blank slate & you can determine what fills up your days.
Obviously, out of respect (and privacy) for myself & my family, I won't post everything happening but this blog will give me a chance to get my thoughts out of my head without becoming annoying of Facebook with some many status updates, etc.
